Requirements for Participation

Eligibility and team formation rules.

  1. This competition is open to both local and international participants.
  2. Individuals or teams comprising no more than 4 members and 1 team leader (maximum of 5 persons per team in total) are welcome to participate in the competition.
  3. In the tertiary level and school categories, teams should consist of no more than 4 members and 1 lecturer/ teacher in charge (a maximum of 5 persons per team). The team leader should be selected from among the students (NOT the teacher/ lecturer).
  4. Collaborative efforts with industries are encouraged without Intellectual Property (IP) infringement.
  5. The organiser reserves the right to reject any entry they deem unsuitable for the competition.

Kindly review the Requirements for Participation available on the website. The team leader is required to create an account before proceeding with the registration. Once the account has been successfully created, log in and complete all the required information. Finally, click “Submit Registration” to complete the process.

Is the DIIID2026 online?

Yes. DIIID2026 will be conducted fully online.

Will certificates be provided?

Yes. All participants will received both an e-certificate of participation and e-certificate of award.

Do you have special rates for groups?

Yes. You may register under Category D by registering four groups and enjoy free entry for one group. Kindly contact the secretariat for further information.
